  • AboutBorn in Greensboro, I was fortunate to call the Lake Oconee area home during my childhood.  My family moved to Athens, Georgia where I eventually went on to get my bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Georgia in 2005. In 2006 I moved to Charleston, South Carolina where I became a licensed real estate agent and joined Creative Communities Incorporated, a resort development company based out of Florida.  For two years I worked selling property in private golf, lake, and mountain communities throughout the Carolinas and Georgia. I spent almost two years sailing the beautiful waters of the South Pacific with my fiancé, Drew, so I can definitely understand one’s love of being on or near the water.  Returning to Greensboro and joining the Coldwell Banker Lake Oconee Realty team gives me the opportunity to make that dream come true for you!  Building and maintaining strong relationships in both my personal, and professional life, is something I take great pride in. I am willing to go the distance to make sure you are satisfied.  Here at Lake Oconee we pride ourselves in our leisurely, laid back lifestyle.  Kick back, put your feet up, and let me work…

Lake Oconee is surrounded by a combination of very large developed (and mostly gated) neighborhoods and a collection of small, lesser known, but still amazing neighborhoods.  These communities exist in all three counties bordering the lake – Greene, Putnam, and Morgan.  I’ve separated the neighborhoods into counties below for easy reference.  And I delineated that further down into regional nicknames where available so you can get a feel for the way us locals talk about the lake.

County designation is the first way to establish location around the lake.  Most of the homes are either “Putnam side” or Greene.  There is only a handful of neighborhoods on the lake inside Morgan Co and often times you’ll hear it referred to by the town name of Buckhead.

Coming soon to this page – the most comprehensive guide to Lake Oconee neighborhoods and communities available.
