The Boat Slip
Every unit here comes with an assigned boat slip, available around the clock, a few steps from the door. That brings value to these units for the weekend visitor who just needs a simple place to land for a weekend of boating on Lake Oconee.
A slip on this lake is not easy to come by at this price. Plenty of neighborhoods near the water give you a ramp and a parking space. Far fewer give you somewhere to leave the boat in the water with your name on it.
The Townhomes at Phoenix Cove

Multi-level townhomes of roughly 1,500 square feet, built in 2003 and 2004. Three bedrooms and two and a half baths, with the primary suite on the main floor and two bedrooms plus a flex space upstairs — usually used as a bunk room, an office or a playroom. Covered back porches face the water.
Several have been renovated in recent years, and they tend to sell move-in ready.
What Townhomes in Phoenix Cove Sell For
The sales record here is thin, because units come up rarely. $300,000 to $400,000 seems to be the range they settle into. That is similar pricing to Carriage Cove, which sits far back up this same cove. Phoenix Cove has the better lake position; the units are a little smaller and there is no pool like the one those Farriers Lane units have.
For a Lake Oconee property with a deeded slip, that is about as accessible as it gets.
Who Phoenix Cove Suits
Somebody who wants a boat on Lake Oconee without buying a house on the water. The slip, the lake views and the low upkeep do most of the work, and the price is a fraction of what most waterfront property goes for on this lake.
It suits a second-home buyer, somebody downsizing, and anyone who would rather spend a weekend on the water than on a lawn. There are no homes for sale in Phoenix Cove at Lake Oconee right now. Carefully, and not from the neighborhood alone.
